The title says it all. Which color buttons get you the best conversion rate on the amazon affiliate website?

I was using green previously, I read somewhere that orange works better as it is the official color of amazon. So, I changed to orange yesterday.

What do you guys say?

Also take in consideration the color palette your site has. If you pick a color for the buttons that is also part of your site color scheme, it won't pop-up.

As most of you guys suggest orange and yellow. I'm going to use orange for some time and see how it goes.
Thanks everyone

I usually use orange.

Red not so much, as it is a warning/danger/stop type color. my reasoning is that subconsciously people might avoid clicking on it.

I think you should go with orange, same as amazon because it produces a sense of familiarity in peoples mind. If your website is orange color dominated you should change the color of the button. The button should stand out that's all.

The highlighted but class button color can increase your amazon affiliate income, like button bg color "dark", and button border blue and text color white. And you also choose classic button colors as per your choice.

My website theme is mostly white with accents of red colour...do you guys think that green will work better as Red means stop and Green will pop out as a signal for GO?

Im no expert, but I would do some A/B testing to see which works best.

This ^ is what people need to do and find out for themselves. There isn't really a 1 size fits all answer to this.

Funny I read a case study yesterday where someone did a split test between a green and a translucent buy now button on their site and green got more clicks.

Personally I think red, green and blue are the way to go according to your website colours :) I love blue and know that it works quite well too, for actions but in a buying intent too, despite the fact that it is very often red, I think it can distinguish your site a little bit in some cases :)
