This collection of threads is aimed specifically at Newbies and anyone who has a question about how things work around here. We've got 'how to' guides, FAQs, general information, and various insights into why BlackHatWorld is run the way it is.

These threads are split into four sections, depending on how long you've been using BHW: Brand New to BHW, Newbie, Newbie+, and Marketplace Seller. But for those of you that have been a member for a while, you might still find them useful for clarifying a thing or two.

For now, you can comment on existing threads, but you can't create your own. We've started the section off like this so that we can keep it as the ultimate reference guide. It isn't somewhere for Newbies to meet other Newbies and start conversations - the rest of the forum is where you should be doing that. Instead, this is a place to answer (hopefully) all of your questions, and show you the ropes of BHW.

If you've got any comments or feedback on the section as a whole, feel free to post them here, and also add any suggestions for additional threads or subject areas we should cover. If you have a question that you don't want to post publicly, you can of course contact support, but read through these threads first, as you might find we've already answered it for you.

Kind of. We've tried to cover the questions that come up the most so that we have a resource to direct people back to, whenever they need it.
Oh, I must have missed the section for those frequently asked questions such as:

How to make $xxx per day?
(Newbie guide on how to make $xxx per day)

and/or

How to rank #1 on google?
(Newbie guide on how to rank #1 on google)

Now to somehow figure out a way to ensure everyone who joins the forums reads this.
What is the best place for that? I think under the breadcrumbs, globally on the whole website.
It should expire/disappear once user clicks a button that says "I know" or "I already saw that" or something similar, alternatively when they visit the thread .
It'd also be good to hide this notification for users who already have about 5 - 10 posts.

Another suggestion I have is to upgrade or completely change the forum's design. It looks like it was made before I was born. We don't want this website to look like it is dead since 2005. Trust me, the very first time I visited BHW I quit and came back in months just looking for some black hat advice. I know this forum isn't meant to look pretty but seriously, it scares off people and hurts our eyes.

The forum was upgraded a couple of years ago and I'm pretty sure another upgrade is currently in the works. I personally really like the layout and design.

Try this for your eyes: White Version

That???s a great list of money making threads - thanks for sharing it here. Of course, the real thanks go to @godknowseverything for compiling the list in the first place - awesome work.

It doesn???t explain how BHW works as a forum though, which is a large part of what we're trying to do here. New members tend to have a lot of questions and sending them to a list of threads is only part of the solution.
