it also depends on what kind of link you are trying to post i.e. if its an obvious affiliate link its hard to get it to stick in the bigger subreddits.
best is a link to an article on your site that is on topic maybe paired with a question.
You are right, link in article (text post) are better way but I am promoting on picture or gif type subreddits. For example, I am promoting various cool products and thus it needs product pic to post on reddit, and then I post my link in comment section. Is there any better way to post link. Any help is appreciated.

First try to think like a normal Reddit user..will you always post other websites link..think before posting will I mention this website in comment if I were a normal user.
Like I said. I do not always post my link, 1 post after 10 posts. And I post my link in comment section. Am I doing it right?

What is the best way to post a link in reddit. Because every time I post link either by link post or link in comments, gets removed or banned. I know self promote in reddit is not legal but 10% promotion is legal as their guideline says. But how do I drive traffic if they continuously banned from subreddits?
I've gotten banned from so many subreddits for posting links to my own site. They aren't spammy or lead gen articles or anything like that. Usually I post my informational articles vs my money articles. However, Reddit admins have a hard-on for banning self-promoters. I try to post links to other random sites to make it look more natural. I'm trying to start my own subreddit in my niche because all the other ones don't allow basically any blog posts.

Tip from me: mask Your links with bbcode into usefull text/description in post/comment like this
It's working and giving me traffic without getting banned/post removed from subreddit.

But you must remember the most important thing - provide a value for reddit users

Need to build up account. Get karma and authority in subredit first and not only spam link in many subs then u can get away with some spam.

Even, without link or any type of promotion, I got banned from several subreddits. You know this is so annoying.

Reddit is very touchy about self promo. It is not about 10% because you can't have success on a technicality when it comes to community driven platforms with at will moderators.

The best way to go about it is to buy shout-outs from aged accounts or rent aged accounts to make shoutouts (you can do a BHW JV for this).

On reddit multiple accounts posting same link > one account posting a link multiple times.
come to so call Multi account , kinda need use different IP etc . What i know reddit does can detect it , if you happen using another account trying to post if I not mistaken.

just happen post one Content ' get ban from the subredit " the content is talk about beauty but contain some affliate links

yesterday ok but today just saw the mod ban me from posting

My number one strategy is creating curiosity or what I call appetizer. That is just what I did for a client streaming site. Of course, some posts will get banned or you get banned from the community. Move on to next or change strategy with a different account

I spam reddit often to drive traffic to my sites, I will not give you the exact methods for obvious reasons, but will give you some tips.

One thing I will tell you is that reddit's admins are very proactive in combating spam, they already have filters up to catch most obvious stuff automatically, making it harder to spam than most other social networks. For example: I can leave a spam bot on twitter running for 3~4 weeks 24/7 before it gets banned, the same thing on reddit lasts a few hours unless the account is old enough and with high enough karma.

Reddit is still worth it despite the above reason as a relatively new account can reach hundreds/thousands of users with little effort if you know what you're doing.

Account age and karma: Most filters (both sitewide and subreddit filters) are based around those variables, the exact amounts you have to find through trial and error. Age is easy to get, just let the account age before using it. For karma you will have to "farm" it, basically use the free karma subreddits (spam bot factories) or repost popular posts on big subreddits, both methods will work.

Domains get banned extremely quickly: It's not worth it to buy domains to evade bans, as soon as the account is caught, reddit will ban your domain sitewide.

You have to be creative on how you post your message. You can just go and drop your links, and if most users and subreddit mods like it and don't report/downvote you, it can work. But very often you will have to change your approach.

You can spam manually, but it is not worth your time: you will make more money doing something else. You will need a bot AND you have to be able to code/update the bot yourself. Look at how often reddit updates their mobile app: they update their spam filters much more frequently than this and this is the frequency you will have to update your tools/methods. If you're going to hire a coder to do it for you every time, you will run out of money.

So many thanks, So, you wanted to say there is no way to self promote with permanent reddit account. I also went through this, I lost several accounts. Thanks again for the method. Can you give some tips that how you monetize reddit traffic. Currently, I am monetizing with amazon associates but conversion rate is too low.

Your accounts will eventually get banned, even if you avoid their automated detection methods, it just takes one admin to see your account and it is gone. To monetize you either spam your own products or affiliate links, I don't like affiliate offers as you only get a percentage of the profit and, on top of it, the shave a lot of conversions, but they're the way to go if you don't have a product to sell.

Look either for generic products you can spam everywhere or those related to a given niche which you should spam in related subreddits to drive more targeted traffic.

What I do there is spam my websites, one where I sell software the other is a porn site.

Some other methods that are common there:

TShirt spammers: They create websites selling shirts with a picture on them and spam the shirt image in subreddits related to the picture and post a link to their website in the post's comments. This method has been going on for years and still works.

Onlyfans spammers: Not sure how onlyfans works exactly, but it seems to be a patreon for ewhores. They create an onlyfans profile and spam them on nsfw subreddits. Given the amount of people doing this, I believe it converts well.

Camsite spammers: Get a chaturbate or other cam sites affiliate link and spam it, converts really well. You will have to be creative on how to deliver the links though because, as I said in my other post, reddit will ban your domains very quickly, chaturbate and other affiliate networks domains are already banned there.

Pornhub affiliate spam: Similar to the above but with pornhub affiliate links. This method is good as reddit will not ban pornhub's domain and nets lot of upvotes from users so the accounts last a bit longer.

Blog spammers: Create a "news" site, copy content for big news site (you don't care for google seo, so just copy/paste, preferably through automated means), fill your site with ads and spam it on politcal subreddits aligned with the content on your site.
