Need help building an amazon affiliate site

I want to start an amazon affiliate site.

From my experience. Here are a few things you should do:

1. Choose low competition niche
2. Study your competitors
3. Focus low competition keywords for start
4. Do review and "vs" articles in the beginning and then move on to "best of" articles
5. Keep posting content until you reach around 100 posts
6. Study top 10 results for the keywords before writing an article
7. Keep Building links side by side
8. Don't expect results before 6-7 months
9. Keep your site speed fast
10. Don't apply for Amazon affiliate account till you start getting at least 10 visitors per day

as @JackFruit said, its probably not a good time/you missed the affiliate money making time with amazon

It can still be profitable.

Regarding themes, a lot of people will recommend you go with so-and-so theme, but you can really use any theme as long as the content is there.

Yes i am.
The main source of income wont be amazon, it will be ads, so i might as well make even more by selling products
