Link-building The Same Links...

When it comes to link building, can building the same link twice hurt a site? Even if it's build towards two different pages on the same site?

No, if it's a legit website then it won't hurt, but you'll likely receive diminishing returns for each additional link.

I just wanted to know if it would benefit the site at all by building to each page.

Generally not. Just don't use any crappy sites to link from and only do it once or twice, if you're going to do it.

An example is you get mentioned in an article on Forbes because you have launched a new ground breaking product.
A couple of months later you're featured in an article on Forbes....

It also depends on the link. Some may look natural pointing to every page. For example, if you added all your products to kit.co or something similar of that nature, that would look entirely natural.

You're asking for a clear-cut answer, when there isn't one.

Is there a way to re-use the links and benefit from doing so? Maybe through a URL Shortener or something?

@RyanHSEO You want to have unique referring domains. You cannot re-use links on the same site, period. Even if you do, it's wasted effort. It will also look unnatural as fuck. Unless you absolutely have a legitimate reason, don't do it.

what if I create 10-20 or even more web 2.0 blogs on a single platform like Tumblr??
I found people using lots of expired Tumblr blogs for ranking only one website.

These are not considered the same.

If you've ever reviewed the link profile of a mommy blogger site, you'll find 100's of blogspots. They're all actually unique blogs. If you point several tumblrs to your site and it is not something that happens in your niche then that's unnatural link building. I am not sure if you'd get slapped or not, but I wouldn't do it unless I see that pattern among competitors.

Please also note that my word is not Gospel. Do your research as well

in my opinion if you are try to do white hate seo than must go to 1 link per domain
