Hello,

I am starting a new website. Have published a couple of content. Not many. So, there is still time to change strategy and such.

I see people say AdSense isn't worth it. So that got me thinking that if I will be wasting my time building a site solely focused on AdSense.

Even though I am producing content for the keywords with high CPC and low SEO difficulty. Still, I don't wanna end up wasting my time for something that will not be worth it.

What are your thoughts and experience with AdSense?

Would you suggest someone to start a website solely focused for AdSense?

Please share if you use other ad network apart from AdSense. Also, please, share your experience.

Thank you for taking your time to read.

You shouldn't focus on AdSense only. You can run dozen networks on the site that can compete for each ad impression.

It's not how traffic arbitrage works. High-CPC keywords and SEO won't guarantee expensive ads with high rates. Your site can be about lawyers, but users can see ads about bananas if that was what he was looking before visiting your site.

It's okay for remnant inventory, as one of the ad networks. As a single network - it could be okay to start with, but not for the long run.

Will it not annoy people on my website?
(I am asking because of my lack of knowledge. I don't mean that you are wrong)

Then what do you suggest that I do for getting much money for as clicks? It would be a big help if you share.

Oh I see, so, it's just something I should get started with.

What if my website is kinda like a magazine? And mostly focused towards ads (the theme)?

If you run all networks through the ad server it won't annoy users - that's what ad server is for.

Focus on quality content, not clicks. Quality content will bring quality traffic and quality traffic will bring revenue.

There are many niches with thousands of keywords having good amount of CPC.

Adsense is beneficial, if the niche is good and their CPC is good. Else if you are having good amount of traffic on your blog, then you can try the other ad networks also.

That's a misleading suggestion. Ads do not care much about keywords on your site, ads appear based on many things such as previous browsing history, social media profiles, interests, etc.

No, I am telling about the keywords for which adsense can be beneficial.

If the user came to a website from Google, he/she must be came by searching through some keywords

So it can give a good CPC, if the content is ranking for good CPC keywords

Nope...it doesn't necessarily work like that.
The visitor can visit the BMW website, then search for oranges and see BMW ad on the site about oranges.
Even though he looked for oranges as a keyword the ad displayed will be based on a number of different criteria. Focusing on high CPC keywords to make money with AdSense is a waste of time. I got you're into SEO, maybe you should focus just on SEO.

Ads based on longtails had higher CPC because they convert better. To make real money choose keywords with a high ads density and value, if no advertising your visitors will see random ads based on the purchase they will statistically make in the near future (worth nothing).

I see people spitting on adsense for years but I'm still happy with them. Adsense is perfect for T1 traffic who are looking for advice before buying, its a waste of time for entertainment niche
