Got scammed on Localbitcoins

But you said that LBC said to you that within 2 or 3 days they would assess it for you. If it happened today, LBC hasn't even given you a verdict yet.

My advice is don't get panicky about using crypto just because 1,000,000 morons that know nothing about it constantly tell people it's risky.

LBC is a good platform that is super safe to use, and instead of there being something unsafe about LBC like you originally said, the problem is that you're super inexperienced and have freaked out, and also have not had the patience to wait 2 or 3 days like LBC said to.

LBC processes thousands of trades per hour. Do you think a site like that could survive if they randomly let sellers rip other people off? If you have proof that you paid, you will get a refund from them.. that's all you need to do is provide them proof when they ask for it.

I get you. Thanks for all that suggestions. But not panicked or freaked, and I know the only way I am getting the refund is if seller himself reimburses it. And I'd give it like 99.96% that the seller will not. Cause it was direct bank transfer, and if he had intention of doing proper business he would've refunded already before this thread was even created.
This is just about awareness.
